I have recently started coaching at Greensborough Mixed Martial Arts based on the fact that I want to share my knowledge and skill with others. Whether you want to train for fitness or learn how to box is completely up to you, either way both will be achieved! I have enjoyed every moment at GMMA, the atmosphere is extremely friendly, and the instructors provide every level of encouragement to all participants. As my own skills developed, the team at GMMA encouraged me to assist them in training the newer members of the studio. I look forward to continuing to coach the novice members of the studio to develop their skills and ensure they enjoy their involvement with GMMA. Greensborough Mixed Martial Arts creates a supportive and encouraging environment for all ages and skill level, and gives great opportunities whether you want to become or fighter or simply gain self defence and fitness in a controlled and fun environment. Kosta Sakkas - Junior Assistant I have been training Muay Thai at GMMA Taipan muay thai for over 4 years. It started off as something different to do and quickly developed into a passion. I have been trained by Kru Mark Cook and Kru Paul Smith. I have also trained in Thailand which has given me the opportunity to learn a more traditional approach to Muay Thai. My fight record is 4 fights 4 wins 0 losses. I know the people who attend my class will benefit from my experience. Jake Ferrara - Personal Trainer My name is Jake Ferrara and I currently work as a Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria and have had a passion for fitness since the age of 17. I have trained in Muay Thai for approx 10 years with a view to enter competition in the near future. During that time I have studied fitness mainly to enhance my own training. I thoroughly enjoy non conventional training modalities like Plyometrics, circuit training, boxing, Muay Thai, kettle bells, I am especially interested in outdoor exercise utilizing the environment as a gym also known as "Movnat". I find these create a fun and interesting way to train that keeps the mind focused and has an infinite number of combinations to challenge at every level. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and take genuine satisfaction in seeing others achieve their goals, no matter how ambitious they may be. |
